
The mission at Kinetic Balance Fitness is to make personalized, well-rounded, health and fitness accessible to everyone from the comfort of their own home. I hope to help others live their best life using functional exercises that strengthen our body alignment and balance, while improving our bone, heart, and lung health. An energetic and supportive environment combining exercise with nutrition and education will create deep health in all aspects of your life!
Jamie is passionate and dedicated to helping you reach your goals, feel your best and find deep health! She is constantly striving to learn, grow and improve her coaching skills to provide you with research based methods, techniques and exercises.
As a former elite athlete at the college level, strength training was an integral part of Jamie’s routine. It built a strong foundation of form and strength, while she learned how important exercise was for feeling strong and healthy. After college, She went on to graduate school to earn her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics. Initially it wasn’t easy to incorporate her workouts into the demanding schedule, but the stress relief that she felt after a workout impressed upon her the importance of prioritizing exercise. Upon graduating, she chose to put her family first and stay home with her kids. Again, her workout mentality shifted, she knew in order to take care of her family she had to take care of herself as well.
Her love for science fueled her to learn and understand the why and how of strength, cardio and nutrition. Ultimately it lit a burning passion in her to expand her knowledge, apply and forge her own career in fitness. She wanted others to find the joy, happiness and energy she felt from feeling strong, empowered and healthy! She started her fitness career as a group fitness instructor. It was so fulfilling for her to help large groups of people push towards their goals, build confidence, and find what is healthy and best for them. While earning her first certification, the CSCS, she learned how important functional exercises were for not only improving sports performance, but also our daily lives. She learned how to program and balance cardiovascular training with muscle strength, growth and recovery. She began to expand into personal training and small groups. She loved writing personalized workouts, but realized that in order to truly help people feel their best she had to expand her skill set. She sought out the HMS and delved deep into the human body, kinesiology and the science of movement. Combining her CSCS and HMS, she uses research backed exercises and techniques to mitigate the pain we feel after years of compensation patterns, sports, daily life or even injury. Jamie believes that exercise is for everybody when it is personalized for your BODY! With personalized warm-ups at ALL levels, education and accessible workouts she hopes to help you find deep health, improve your mindset, reach your fitness goals and just feel your best!
